The elevator code for Level 3999 in Escape the Backrooms is 931. Enter those three digits on the arcade elevator's keypad. The code is fixed, and the clue is printed on a ticket in the same room near the elevator.
Find the ticket clue
Follow the arcade's corridor into the room with the elevator. A note beside the lift tells you that the code is somewhere nearby. Look for the tickets on a table in the corner of that room and inspect the one showing 931.

You do not need a random three-digit number from another run. The ticket's printed number is the clue for this particular elevator, which is different from the generated word-matching terminal near the Hub.

Enter 931 and take the lift
- Return to the elevator in the arcade room.
- Interact with its keypad.
- Enter 9, 3, then 1.
- Use the activated elevator to continue.
The elevator takes you onward to Level 0.2, Remodeled Mess. Its onboard M.E.G. video introduces the marked no-clip areas and traffic lights used in the following section. Red and yellow indicate nearby danger; green indicates that no danger is currently detected nearby, while still requiring attention after crossing.
Keep the elevator separate from Final Escape
Level 3999 appears in ending discussions, but this ordinary coded elevator is part of the onward story route. Entering 931 does not satisfy the prerequisites for the later Final Escape arcade machine.
For that ending, complete Wrong Door, Empty City, The Suburbs and The Pink House, then return through the base's special Level 3999 connection. If your immediate goal is simply to leave the arcade through the lift, the ticket and 931 are all you need for the code puzzle.
